Times Now Fakes it Again, attributes fake quote to Sumanth Raman

In a tweet that was still live on twitter while publishing this article, Times Now has falsely attributed a quote to political analyst, Sumanth Raman.

Times Now tweeted, “What is necessary at this stage for the interest of Maharashtra is the destabilisation of this State Govt: @sumanthraman, Political Analyst tells Navika Kumar on @thenewshour. | #RahulDumpsMaharashtra”

Times Now was running a prime time show with its propaganda hashtag #RahulDumpsMaharashtra. Mr. Suman was one of the panelists in the prime time show.

Soon Mr. Raman quoted the tweet from Times now and asked them to delete the tweet.

He wrote “Whaaat? I said exactly the opposite. Delete this absurd tweet @TimesNow”
