In a bizarre debate on May 27, Arnab Goswami of the Republic Hindi channel went on to accuse Pakistan of plotting an attack on India by sending in locusts.
“We foiled another attack that Pakistan planned to execute against India,” anchor Arnab Goswami said. “Why do these locust biryani-eating Pakistanis not understand?”
After the absurd video went viral, Twitteratis mocked Arnab Goswami which they called as the lowest level of journalism on National TV.
A Twitter user shared the video of a man holding a locust in his hand and ‘questioning’ it over its motto behind entering India.
“A Locust caught red handed in India. The LIU ( Local Investigation Unit ) is investigating the case. Hope soon the conspiracy behind the attack would be unearthed. Bolega , jald bolega sab raaz uglega ! (sic),” read the post which has been viewed over 50,000 times on twitter.
Many other twitter users also mocked Arnab Goswami.
