A Quote attributed to PM Modi stating he had claimed that 1 crore corona patients were treated free of cost in India was shared by India TV which has gone viral on social Media.
In his “Mann ki Baat” radio address, the prime minister had said more than one crore patients imply that more than one crore families of the country have benefited from the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He wasn’t talking about the corona patient but explaining the “success’ of Ayushman Bharat scheme.
India Today while telecasting the Radio program wrote a misleading quote that ‘ 1 crore corona patients were treated free of cost.
Soon the screenshot of the quote went viral on social media.
Many people started mocking PM Modi without realising that the quote was fake.
