The rising Islamophobia from Indian expats living in the Gulf nations has prompted many Gulf citizens, activist, and Prominent personalities to speak against it.
Seeing this as an opportunity to gain more followers and weaken the cause, many fake accounts have surfaced on the web all over. Their intention is very straight and clear. They want to divide the community and ignite hatred. Fake accounts dare to promote this filth amongst the biased masses.
Alert netizens pointed out that, various Twitter users have changed their handles to sound more Arabic and tweet against India ‘condemning’ the ‘hate’ against Muslims.
Activist @samjawed65 pointed out that Twitter account by the name “H. H. Mona bint Fahad al Said” with a flag of Oman next to her name was earlier ‘pak__fauj’.

Other Twitter handles @kahlownyasin and @abd_el_kader posing as Arabs were found to be Pakistani trolls. @abd_el_kader posted some objectionable posts against Indians living in Qatar. Many Indians pointed out these fake accounts and asked people to report them.
Journalist Irena Akbar wrote “People, do NOT follow, retweet or like @KahlownYasin, a Pakistani troll posing as an Arab.
Also, do NOT follow, retweet or like @Abd_el_kaderr, another reportedly fake account.
Do NOT let them exploit your vulnerability. Follow only blue-tick accounts. Be WISE.”.
How to recognise FAKE account??
