Fact Check: Suresh Chavhanke shares a misleading video continuing to spreading communal hatred

A video showing a boy washing apples in a sewer in Pakistan is shared by Sudarshan News editor in chief Suresh Chavhanke.

The tweet by Suresh Chavhanke does not specify where the video is from but instead gives the incident a communal spin as done by him previously. This seems to be misleading, and intentional to create communal hatred between religions.

FACT CHECK

A simple google search “video of boy collecting apples from gutter” gave the result of BOOM Fact Check done in September 2018. The fact-check of the video captured in August 2018 shows that the boy in the video is speaking in Pashto, a language spoken mainly in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
