The Chhattisgarh government last week quarantined 159 people allegedly linked to Tablighi Jamaat event in Nizamuddin. The mainstream media and right wing social media started to fuel hate against Muslims in the state.
But 108 of these individuals turned out to be Hindus as per the BBC Hindi report. They had just gone Delhi for work.
