Video from Pakistan falsely shared as police raiding cloth shop during Ramadan shopping amidst lockdown

A video where several burkha clad women escaping from the window of a building is viral on social media. It is claimed that these women had gone for Ramadan shopping during the lockdown. The police sealed the shop so they were fleeing from the window.

A page by name Mahesh Vikram Hegde has shared the video on Facebook. The video is also widely shared in WhatsApp with similar claims.

Fact:
MediaScannerIN did a simple reverse image search of the video and found the same video posted on youtube on 30 June 2015. The caption of the video says “Sex workers fleeing after FIA raid at a brothel in Karachi”.

Thus, it is clear that the video is from Pakistan and unrelated to the recent coronavirus Lockdown.
