More than 50 religious functions and Mass gatherings were held around the same time the congregation in Delhi was Happening. But the Tablighi event was singled out my Media to spread Islamophobia. Here we have added media reports of the religious gathering held around the same time or after the Markaz event.
Note: Tablighi jamaat function was organized much before the announcement of the lockdown. They had also written to the authorities about the people stuck in markaz due to lockdown.

As Arfa Sherwani says, ” Tablighis aren’t the most progressive people in India. Rather very orthodox & rigid.
But we refuse to believe thy’ll harass doctors or molest women. I know them as selfless individuals who leave materialistic world, even their families in service of religion /society.

One is free to criticize their way of life or thinking.
Recent Corona incident shows they are blinded by religion as most religious people (irrespective of what religion they follow) in India are.

But they do not deserve this treatment by media.
In the guise of ‘fighting Corona’,and ‘exposing’ Tablighi Jamat,media is targeting the entire Muslim community.
